Once more we obtained a number of this beautiful livebearer, M. parae. Micropoecilia parae represents a wild form of livebearing fish, not a bred sport. The fish are not close relatives of the guppys and cannot be crossbred with them. The females of M. parae can be recognized by the shoulder spot.
